Our Story

Hi there!

Welcome to my site. My name is Ghia and I'm a fashion loving, chica. I have loved fashion since I was a little girl. I would spend hours hand sewing clothes for my dolls. Growing up, I continued to sew as a past time but never took it seriously. As life would have it, in early 2014, I found myself unemployed. Undeterred, I dusted off my sewing machine and started making little girl dresses. At first, I only sold to friends and family. However, with the help and encouragement from my mom Rose, I began selling on Etsy and from that Liberty Lark was born.

Being an L.A. native, I draw inspiration from nature and the laid back California lifestyle. I am also an environmentalist and believe in sustainability in fashion. Currently, the textile industry uses massive amounts of water in the mass production of fabric. This puts added stress on our already scarce water supply. This is why we try to reduce our environmental impact by using remnants of existing fabric to make our clothing line. This way, fabrics that may have otherwise ended up in landfills are finding a new purpose. We make small runs of all our styles, usually 10 pieces or less. Our apparel is sewn by us, here in the beautiful U.S.A.

Occasionally, we come across some really neat pieces that we just have to share. And, because we know moms are busy, we like to mix our designs with globally sourced footwear and accessories, for a complete head to toe look.
